About Frank

Motivation
Where do you get the ideas from is the next question.
And this is more interesting...
Above all, I think that my works are narrative (sometimes only visual)||Often color is the most important, but usually the story that is made up by the painter and viewer is the most dominant.
My philosophy:
I consider my work naive realism. This is my own term. Other possible terms include narrative realism and gameism (computer game).
Related to this is magical realism, where Nietzsche's Midday and Evening Red serve as models for the atmosphere of magical revelation (also Giorgio de Chirico). It is not surrealism because it doesn't depict a dream image, but a realistic image in a supernatural setting.
The combination of magical realism and narrative passion is what dominates Visualen: naive realism. The naive element resides in the story without end or beginning, like children's imaginations in their play. While playing, they stumble upon a great discovery; impressed, but unable to understand (Clarke, A Space Odyssey).
